A group of photos wildly circulated online, showing decadence of the high life in Beijing, are actually shooting tidbits of a movie, said a Beijing advertising firm in official microblogging, trying to straighten things out.

The photos, posted by an internet user who claimed yesterday to have attended a pool party at a private mansion in the suburbs of Beijing during the National Day holiday, show a line of luxury cars parked outside the mansion, all of which had their license plates removed.

The friend who took him to the party had warned that the women present at the party, although not particularly beautiful, were expensive because all of them had passed health checks.

As the party began, the women stripped down into bikinis and got into the pool with the high-class guests. Pole dancing was also a feature.

A couple of muscular men then showed up and started to mingle with the scantily-clad women. The netizen initially thought they were "fu er dai," the offspring of wealthy families. He later found out that they were hired performers.

Some of the supposedly wealthy men in the pool started to grope the bikini-clad women and the host made sure to create games that guaranteed physical interaction. Some of the guests got so excited that they splashed wine on each other.

Many Chinese internet users blasted the party as a wholesale "meat market" and said the netizen attending it was shameless. Some of them said the party was a classic representation of the purchasing power of the wealthy. People should not make any moral judgments on the party, they concluded.
