Pakistani expert hailed successful conclusion of China's two sessions, highlighting its global significance

ISLAMABAD, Mar. 13 (China Economic Net) - Nabila Jaffer, a prominent research analyst and the lead of the China Research Program at the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) in Islamabad, Pakistan, has expressed her revere and enthusiasm regarding the successful conclusion of China’s Two Sessions held from 4 March to 11 March, highlighting the significance of the event for China and its global influence.
 
The Two Sessions, referring to the annual meetings of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), are pivotal events in China’s political calendar. This year’s sessions, which concluded recently, attracted widespread attention from both Chinese and international observers.
 
Ms. Jaffer commented on the sessions’ outcomes and their potential implications for China’s future policies and strategies, noting the highlight of new quality productive forces as a key aspect of China’s future development strategy. She emphasized the importance of these forces in driving economic growth, technological innovation, and overall national competitiveness.
 
“The Two Sessions have once again demonstrated China’s commitment to economic development and innovation,” said Ms. Jaffer. “China has a strong, effective and stable political environment with continuity in its policies.”
 
“The decisions made during the Two Sessions will pave the way for China to embrace a new era of economic prosperity,” she added. “I am particularly interested in how China will harness the power of new quality productive forces to drive its economic growth and enhance its global competitiveness.”
 
Nabila Jaffer’s enthusiasm over the successful conclusion of China’s Two Sessions reflect the positive sentiment towards China’s political and economic progress within the Pakistani academic and policy community. “Pakistan welcomes new initiatives in China’s economy that ensures mutual benefits,”she concluded.
