Unveiling the potential of China-Pakistan collaboration in software industry

SHENZHEN, Mar. 8 (China Economic Net) - China Pakistan Software Corporation Conference was successfully held in Guangzhou China on Thursday. The participants highlighted the significance of the growing IT partnership between Pakistan and China.   
 
Sardar Muhammad, Acting Consul General of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Guangzhou said that an online B2B meeting between Pakistani software companies and the Shenzhen Software Industry Association opened a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries. 
 
He appreciates the Special Investment Facilitation Council, the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) for their tireless efforts in promoting Pakistan's software industry on the global stage. He added that their dedication and hard work have played a crucial role in positioning Pakistan as a hub for technological excellence.
 
“I am particularly pleased to note Pakistan's active participation in the last prestigious China High Tech Fair (CHTF) in Shenzhen. This event serves as a platform for showcasing Pakistan's technological prowess and forging valuable connections with industry leaders from around the world. I commend the Pakistani software companies for their commitment to innovation and excellence,” Sardar stated.
 
Sardar provided an overview that Pakistan has undertaken several measures to further facilitate the sector including special Foreign Currency Accounts for the IT Sector, IT Skills training for 200,000 youth, 10,000 E-Rogers Centers, PayPal Remittance, 5G spectrum availability, National Policy for High-Speed Internet Fiber Across Country, National Space Policy, Telecom Appellate Tribunal, Pakistan, a digital corridor of connectivity, Pakistan Startups Fund, Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), Smartphone on installments etc.
 
“I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for collaboration between Pakistani and Shenzhen-based companies in one of the most important sectors of the current day business world. Our shared commitment to technological advancement and cooperation paves the way for fruitful partnerships that will benefit both our nations,” he added.
 
He is confident that with the Chinese government’s emphasis in the Work Report on high-quality development and technological innovation, the two countries will work together to harness the potential of talented professionals and cutting-edge technologies to create a brighter future for both. He added that more than 50 companies participated in today's event.
 
Zheng Fei, Secretary General of Shenzhen Software Industry Association showed willingness to promote software cooperation between Shenzhen-based companies and Pakistani companies to boost bilateral IT collaboration.
